I did it, Joe. I made it through a full year of freelancing, and thanks in large part to this newsletter, I feel really good about where the next one is headed. Your subscriptions will allow me to devote more time and energy to working on Shop Rat in 2024, and I can’t wait to dive in. It’s been such a gift to be able to write about what interests me. (Shoes.) So I just want to say THANK YOU to all of you for being so supportive and ignoring my typos. Seriously. There are nearly 10,000 of you already! I hope these emails bring some style and humor to your inboxes.

• I came across this photo of Sarah Jessica Parker from 1998 and realized I’d seen the skirt before.

Vintage Prada skirt, $431 on the RealReal.

• So many Succession props are up for auction, including this fake New York magazine cover. You can even get the “ludicrously capacious” Burberry bag.

• Outline, a wonderful store in Brooklyn, launched its e-commerce website.

• My friend Sam also just launched Systemarosa, which is going to turn me into a vintage soccer jersey collector.
