I actually really love Uniqlo’s “Men’s Colorful Socks” so much. They have a few truly great, bright colors—I wear them almost every day. Especially with boots. Sure, the fit isn’t spot-on (being a Men’s sock), but they’re under $5, they stay up (on me, at least!), and there isn’t really a flaccid situation (thank god). For reference, I’m typically a Women’s 7.5-8 or 38/39 (FR).
Going to Rome in March and added it to my Google maps. I’m personally obsessed with Paul Smith cycling socks. They look like dress socks and come in great colors but they fit like athletic socks and are tight but not too tight. I wear them in all year round but they’re the only sock I can wear with my winter boots, which are shearling lined
